On the 18th December, the Government announced its long-awaited Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) Strategy (“the strategy”). In the below, we assess the VAWG Strategy against our organisational focus area, the intersection of technology and VAWG and the impacts on Black women and gender-expansive people specifically. 

Today Ofcom have released their finalised guidance, as per the Online Safety Act, towards keeping women and girls’ safe online. The guidance is the conclusion of the years-long campaign Glitch and others undertook to ensure women and girls were considered in legislation for the online environment.
